"No doctor has ever cured anyone of anything."
Before we justify that statement, let me clarify that ALL doctors are (or at least can be in the proper context) important. When their interventions are properly applied, they can be incredible facilitators to the process of healing...but they don't do the healing.
This is such an important concept that goes totally overlooked in most health care providers' offices. No matter how much education someone has, they are incapable of healing someone else. Only the living body can heal itself.
Think about the last time you cut yourself. What probably ensued looked something like this - a bandaid on your finger, some type of antibacterial spray, and if it was really bad, you may even have gone to the emergency room and received an antibiotic or even a shot with some type of chemical.
Three weeks later you took the bandaid off and said, "look...all healed!"
Did the bandaid, spray, and medicine heal you?
Let's do another experiment.
Go to your butcher shop, buy a steak, and cut it. Wrap it in a bandage, rub medicine on it - heck, even give it a chiropractic adjustment if you can. What will be the likely result?
Of course you're thinking, "This is so ridiculous! It's a DEAD piece of meat."
My point exactly.
What we call "healing" is the creation of new life. And, since no doctor (chiropractors included) can create new life, no doctor can heal your body. The best chance you have in every circumstance is to help your body be as healthy and able to express the maximum amount of life possible.
How do you do that?
Simple, meet the requirements of your body for normal and optimal function. The strategy we use is called Life By Design.
Proper fuel, healthy movement, a positive mindset and of course, the central (but often overlooked) piece of the puzzle, a clear brain - body connection. Chiropractic care cannot and never will heal your body, but making sure your brain can communicate to every cell, tissue and organ is a vital component of giving your body every chance possible to heal ITSELF!
